This past weekend I was fortunate enough to be invited back and attend the Make Magazine 3D Printer Testing Shootout. We were hosted by the wonderful folks at America Makes in Youngstown Ohio. It was a super intense weekend of testing machines, discussions about testing criteria, social gatherings and events – i think I got maybe 14 or so hours sleep in three days. The featured video shows their SLS machine in action. It’s as big as a NY apartment. Serious bit of kit.

The results of our weekends testing will be available in issue 42 of Make Magazine due out in late November on newsstands everywhere.
