MATERIALIZE is a juried exhibition of 3D printed artworks developed by the Robert and Elaine Stein Galleries at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Submitted works must have a component created using digital fabrication, or 3D printing process, and may include haptic and 3D photoscan technologies.
Juror and featured artist Tom Lauerman (born Chicago, IL) works within the overlap of sculpture, craft, and design. His objects, drawings, and installations explore the emotional capacities of constructed spaces as a visual, tactile, and visceral experience.
